About QUEST Alliance
 
QUEST Alliance is a not for profit trust working to bridge the education and skills divide by enabling self-learning for young people 10-35 years old. QUEST designs scalable and replicable solutions across Education and Employability sectors.
 
QUEST’s employability program - My Quest comprises innovative materials and strategies using blended learning to enhance life and work skills among youth. My Quest enables young people to discover confidence and self-awareness so that they can connect with the right careers and achieve their dreams of success.
 
My Quest network comprises of more than 220 vocational training centers, ITIs and Colleges, spread across 19 states. The Network has reached more than 100,000 Youth through employability and entrepreneurship training.
 
 
 
 
Objective of the EOL
 
QUEST Alliance is launching My Quest, a life skills and career development project for youth in partnership with Godrej Industries. The focus of the project is to help non-government organizations enrich their skills development work by using the My Quest toolkit. The project also seeks to develop capacities of trainers to deliver a blended learning curriculum.  
 
The purpose of the EOI is to provide interested organizations an opportunity to partner with QUEST Alliance and adapt the My Quest toolkit in their work with youth.
 
My Quest Curriculum
 
The My Quest curriculum consists of a 25 hours module on life skills and career Development. The module involves trainer led sessions, group activities and projects that will help young people build critical life and career development skills.
 
The module is divided into four sections:
  • Introduction module - Building a community
  • Understanding self
  • Exploring the world of work
  • Career planning & preparedness
The curriculum also offers Godrej Leaders’ Club, a module on fostering leadership traits amongst youth.
 
Who can apply?
 
Non-government organizations, Colleges, Industrial Training Institutes, Polytechnics working with youth with a focus on building employability skills.
  1.  The organization must be interested in using a high quality life skills and career development curriculum in its on-going work.
  2. The organization must have facilitators who can be trained by QUEST Alliance to use this curriculum.
Terms of Reference
 
Training
Each participating institute will select trainers who will use the curriculum to train youth.
 
QUEST Alliance will organize trainings for the selected trainers. Travel, boarding and lodging costs for trainers coming to the ToT will be borne by QUEST Alliance.
 
The trainers will subsequently implement the curriculum at their institutes.
 
Curriculumhandover
Each centre that agrees to implement the project will receive the following:
  • Internet enabled tablet loaded with the curriculum (to help trainers implement the curriculum in the classroom)
  • Trainer manual
  • Student workbooks (as per number of students being trained by the centre)
  • Access to QUEST online resource bank (to help trainers access interesting content at ease)
  • Classroom material like posters and standees
  • Recognition for well performing centers
Ongoing support
 
QUEST Alliance will support the centers and trainers through regular visits and phone calls.
 
Trainers will also have access to QUEST’s online trainer support system for continuous access to tools and material that can enrich their classes.
 
Reporting
 
Centers implementing the curriculum will share data on students who access the curriculum with QUEST Alliance.
 
Certification
 
Certificate for students who finish the course & Certificate for trainers who finish two or more batches
