About Don Bosco Tech:

Don Bosco Tech (DB Tech), a network of more than 420 skill training centres attempts to bridge the widening digital, financial and social divide between those who have access to opportunities and those who are increasingly being marginalized from the ‘new economy’ jobs. Set up in 2006, Don Bosco Tech addresses the issues of unemployment and lack of skilled manpower with a market-based approach that is sensitive to the socio-economic needs of underprivileged youth in the 18-35 years age group. Don Bosco Tech offers employment-linked, market-driven vocational courses of short duration to the economically and socially deprived youth.
 
Background:
 
Don Bosco Tech is implementing various training programs related to skill development. One of the programs for trainers is Train New Trainer (TNT) programme that can groom the qualified aspired youth to become an effective trainer in the skill development sector. The objective of the TNT program is to empower trainers through state-of-the-art methods and tools that help them to enable world class learning for their students. He/She will be trained on the myriad aspects on facilitation skills, which enable them for smooth transition from aspirant to a full-fledged trainer with advanced skills in training to face the classroom with confidence. The courses focus on additional desirable skills such as pedagogy, communication, presentation, creativity and innovation in training youth.
 
Aspiring youngsters, who are qualified and interested in skill training, can join the program. He/shewill be given an intensive three months training to become an ideal Don Bosco Tech Trainer. The fourth batch of TNT program will commence on June 06, 2016 with focus on training in Retail, Electrical, Hospitality, Communicative English & IT, Welding and BPO.
 
Job description for successful candidates:
 
On successful completion of the TNT training and assessment by the Learning & Development team, candidate will be offered a job in any of the Don Bosco Tech centres across India. The candidate is also free to take up any job in any other organisations of his/her choice. As a trainer, he/she will be responsible for mobilization, training and placement for the unemployed youth as per the project guidelines and target groups
 
Selection Process:
 
Eligible candidates need to apply with subject line ‘Application for Trainer for TNT Program’ to Don Bosco Tech Society. Candidates with required qualification need to undertake a test to ascertain about the domain knowledge in one of the Don Bosco Tech centres in their locality. On selection, they will be called for a telephone / skype / personal interview as per the location and accessibility. Shortlisted candidates will have a final round of telephonic interview from Regional Office in Bengaluru.Selected candidates will be informed on May 15, 2016 for further information. Selected candidates have to pay Rs. 3000/- as the registration fee for the TNT program.
 
Remuneration:
The salary of the trainer after successful completion of the TNT will be Rs. 15,200*/- (CTC) per month. (*PS: Rs. 3000/- will be deducted from the salary for the first eight months towards contribution for the training.)
Eligibility:
ITI, Diploma holders, Graduates or Post Graduates with or without work experience are eligible to apply.
